K-CSAP SMART Agriculture Project Launch on February 13,2020

Kericho County Government has launched K-CSAP SMART Agriculture Project in the county targeting farmers in the region. The launch took place on 13.02.2020 at Kericho County Government Officers graced by the Prof. Paul Kiprono, Governor Kericho County, Susan Kikwai, Deputy Governor Kericho County among other guests . A lot of credit goes to the World Bank and County Government of Kericho for rolling out a project of its kind which will see the region beef up the Kenya’s food basket in the respective value chains entailing; indigenous chicken, sorghum, Banana, Dairy and Finger Millet and also empower her people to greater economic prosperity in the region. This will not only bring sustainability and economic growth to the great people of Kericho County and its constituents from Sigowet, Soin, Ainamoi, Kapsaos, Kipkelion and Kamasian wards but will also put Kericho County in the National Radar and Global Map with the potential of exporting agricultural commodities to the neighboring counties and the greater E.A Region.

UNES has the consultants base with the capacity of over 1, 500 professionals drawn from different Thematic Areas will over see the Project to its finality.
